Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council consulted The Theatres Trust by email on an application to demolish the rear section of the former theatre and build a hotel with gym, restaurant and meeting rooms.

Kings Theatre Southsea reinstates features

Portsmouth City Council has consulted The Theatres Trust on the above planning application to replace the existing cupola; reinstate the statue on the dome roof and the lions on the parapet wall, also the guard rail at roof level on Exmouth Road; and replace the coloured glass windows on the corner tower.
