European Commission visits the ECOVENUE ERDF Project

On the 19 April Commissioner Hahn and a delegation from the EC visited The Theatres Trust ERDF funded ECOVENUE Project. The visit took place at the Old Vic, one of the fourty-eight participants in the project. The afternoon kicked off with an introduction to the ECOVENUE Project, was followed by a Green Energy discussion and followed up by a tour of energy efficient measures made at the Old Vic.
Ecovenue Creative Exhibition Producer required

Ecovenue is a central feature of The Theatres Trust’s Conference 12 on 12 June 2012 at Stratford Circus in east London. Through a dedicated exhibition in the venue’s studio space, Circus 2, we will tell the story of Ecovenue through its participating venues. We are looking for an independent creative exhibition producer to tender their services to deliver the exhibition.

Matt Lloyd, Managing Director of GDS was presented with the sustainability award by the Chairman of The Theatres Trust, Rob Dickins, CBE, for its ArcSystem LED-based house lighting system.
