Three Trustees re-appointed to Theatres Trust board

Paul Cartwright, Richard Johnston and Gary Kemp have been re-appointed as Trustees for a three-year period from 31 December 2020 to 30 December 2023.

Paul Cartwright is a chartered accountant, an executive coach and private investor, and a Trustee of The Young Actors Theatre in Islington. Richard Johnston is Chief Executive of Delfont Mackintosh Theatres. Gary Kemp is a musician and actor, known for founding the 1980s supergroup Spandau Ballet.

As the national advisory public body for theatres, our Trustees are appointed by the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, The Rt Hon Oliver Dowden CBE MP, who confirmed the re-appointments on 18 December 2020.

We look forward to continuing to work with Paul, Richard and Gary over the next three years to help the Theatres Trust meet its ambitions to protect theatres for everyone.
