Job opportunity: Project Coordinator

We are looking for a Project Coordinator (0.4 FTE for three years three months) to support the delivery of a new programme - Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities - helping theatres in need.

The three-year programme, made possible thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund as well as funding from the Pilgrim Trust and Swire Charitable Trust, aims to reduce the threat to At Risk theatres and strengthen the theatre sector’s resilience following a difficult few years due to the pandemic.

You will bring your experience of coordinating or managing projects including training elements, which could come from a range of backgrounds – although an interest and enthusiasm for the arts and heritage, and theatre specifically, is vital. You should be a great and pro-active communicator, with a natural ability to work in an organised manner with excellent attention to detail.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will lead the logistical and administrative planning and delivery of online and in person training sessions and the production of supporting materials. You will also be responsible for general coordination and administration across the programme supporting the Programme Manager, and ensuring day-to-day monitoring and evaluation data is collected as required and set out by the Evaluation Consultant, with appropriate training provided.

You will be joining at an exciting time as we develop and deliver our largest funded project to date. The role offers an opportunity to play a key supporting role in delivering on our objectives.

We strongly encourage people with disabilities and people who are from ethnically or culturally diverse backgrounds from across the UK to apply as Theatres Trust is keen for the team and its work to be informed by and representative of the diverse communities it serves.

Salary £30,000 FTE (actual £12,000 pro rata on 0.4 FTE), plus benefits package.

The role does not need to be based in our London office, although regular travel is required throughout the UK to attend training sessions and meetings.

Deadline for applications: 12 noon on 21 September 2022.

We aim for interviews to take place in person at the Theatres Trust offices on Monday 3 October 2022. Travel costs to and from interview can be reimbursed if required.
