The Trust was supportive of proposals for refurbishment of Borough Theatre, which give greater flexibility and improve accessibility and facilities although we outlined areas in which plans could be refined.

Replacement signage for Palace in Redditch
The Trust supported proposals by the theatre to replace their static advertisements with new digital signs.

Replacement stage door at London's Apollo Victoria
The Trust raised no objections to the replacement of the theatre's stage door which has become damaged over time. The replacement doors will also improve security at the theatre.

New homes proposed underneath Arbroath's Abbey Theatre
The Trust objected to a proposal for conversion of a nursery to four new homes on a site underneath the Abbey Theatre in Arbroath, as noise and disturbance from the theatre could result in complaints from new residents.

Change of use for former Above The Stag arch
The Trust raised no objection to the change of use of a railway arch formerly in theatre use, as the previous occupant (Above The Stag) moved to another site some time ago that better met their needs.

New accessible WC at Edinburgh Playhouse
The Trust supported in principle an additional accessible WC provided by shrinking a bar, but requested further detail to demonstrate the proposal would not cause harm to the theatre's historic fabric or decorative significance.

Tubthumping lyric at Leeds Playhouse supported
The Trust supported retention of an illuminated sign on Leeds Playhouse containing a lyric from Chumbawamba's 1997 hit Tubthumping.

Enclosure to loading bay at Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury
The Trust supported an extension to the theatre's loading bay because it currently lacks storage space for sets and equipment resulting in it being left outside. The proposal will also result in reduced noise to surrounding homes.
