Samira Ahmed joins Theatre Photograph of the Year judging panel

We are delighted that Samira will join fellow Theatres Trust Ambassadors Matthew Bourne, Miranda Hart and Jude Law as a judge for our new photography competition.

Journalist, broadcaster and documentary maker Samira Ahmed presents Front Row on Radio 4 and Newswatch on BBC1. She is a visiting professor of journalism at Kingston University and a regular contributor to the Big Issue. Samira became a Theatres Trust Ambassador in 2018, having had a lifelong interest in theatre.

Theatre Photograph of the Year is a new national competition looking to find images that reflect everything we love about theatre buildings in the UK.

It is open to amateur and professional photographers alike and there is a category specifically for younger budding photographers.
