Covid passes for theatres

Proof of vaccine or negative test results will be required in venues in Wales and Northern Ireland.

Wales voted to extend its Covid pass scheme to include theatres with the rule change coming into force on 15 November.

Northern Ireland voted in favour of Covid passes on 17 November with the requirement likely to be introduced week commencing 22 November and legally enforceable from 13 December.

On 23 November Scotland announced that its Covid pass scheme would not be extended to more settings so they are not required for theatres.

Covid passes are not a legal requirement in England although some venues may request it from audiences.
