Community Ownership Fund Round 2
The Department for Levelling Up, Communities and Housing has recently published the prospectus for Round 2 of the Community Ownership Fund.
A number of changes have been made to the scheme since the first round. In particular, organisations that already own their building can apply for funding for capital works where the building is at risk of closure. The requirements for buildings to have had a community use in the last 5 years has also been removed.
We are already aware of some theatre projects interested in this funding and can give advice to any others looking to apply.
