Conference 22 sessions and first speakers announced

We are delighted to be able to announce further details about the programme and the first wave of speakers for our conference on 11 October at Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith.

Conference 22: Theatres Fit for The Future will focus on creating a lively, engaging, dynamic gathering of professionals to collectively imagine a more viable, sustainable, and inclusive future for our theatres.

Sessions will include:

  • The Business of Theatres
  • Theatres for Everyone
  • Theatres in Placemaking
  • Greening Theatres
  • Capital Projects Lightning Rounds

Speakers confirmed so far include representatives from 20 Stories High, Liverpool; Awen Cultural Trust, Wales; Brixton House, London; Komedia, Bath / Brighton; St George’s Guildhall, King’s Lynn; Stanley Arts, Croydon; Tinderbox Theatre Company, Belfast and Theatre Royal Plymouth.

Find out more about the speakers and the topics they’ll be discussing.

The 2022 event aims to shake things up a bit and – responding to feedback – more centrally involve everyone attending (our panellists, speakers and delegates) in helping to imagine what theatres fit for the future might look and feel like.

We hope you will be able to join us.
