Tim Eyles reappointed as Theatres Trust Chair

Theatres Trust is delighted to announce that Culture Secretary Matt Hancock has reappointed Tim Eyles as Chair of the Theatres Trust for a further three years until 31 January 2021.

During his successful first term, Tim has been a very proactive, energetic and engaged Chair, instituting a number of significant and positive changes. These include a major rebrand focusing on renewing and clarifying our purpose and steering the organisation through significant change, including the appointment of a new Director in 2017 and the recruitment of seven new trustees whose enthusiasm and skills will greatly support the Trust’s future development.

Tim Eyles is Managing Partner UK and International Board member of leading international law firm Taylor Wessing, Chair of The Jerwood Charitable Foundation, one of the UK’s leading arts charities, and a Director of the Jerwood Space. In his early career he was a lawyer, then partner, with the law firm, Goodman Derrick, where the senior partner was Lord Goodman CH, the founding Chairman of The Theatres Trust. Tim Eyles became Chair on 1 February 2015.
