Arts Council England ten year strategy

Arts Council England is currently consulting on a ten-year strategy and want to hear from people involved in arts, culture and creativity throughout England.

Whether your theatre regularly receives funding from ACE, presents work by funded companies or has no current connection at all, your input can help shape the way arts are funded.

Theatres Trust has been engaging from the early stages of this consultation. We think it is important that the need for investment in the nation’s theatre buildings is acknowledged, the Arts Council recognises the importance of theatres as social hubs for their communities and that research into the value of theatres is supported; making a stronger case for the best theatres in the right places.

Theatres Trust will continue to respond to this consultation on behalf of all theatres but this is no replacement for the unique experience of your organisation.
