Grand Opera House, Belfast

Designed by Frank Matcham and opened in 1895 a £12.2m restoration and development project will begin in January 2020 ahead of the theatre’s 125th anniversary in December 2020. Over 295,000 people attended shows and events at the theatre in 2018.
The Grand Theatre Blackpool

The Grand Theatre was built by Frank Matcham in 1894. Saved from demolition in the 1970’s by a passionate group of local supporters, this beautiful venue is a wonder of restoration and revival: a local resource of national significance.

Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain

The LTG has been in existence since 1946 to represent the views of amateur theatres across the UK. Membership is open to amateur theatres that own or lease their theatre premises. We currently have 114 member theatres.

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

The Society for Theatre Research

The STR is for all those with an interest in British theatre and performance. It publishes books and a journal, puts on a series of lectures, acts as an advisory body on theatrical matters, offers research grants and hosts an annual Theatre Book Prize.
Shanklin Theatre

In 2010, Isle of Wight Council voted to close Shanklin Theatre. Subsequently, Shanklin Theatre Limited was formed to operate the venue. The Friends of Shanklin Theatre provide the mainstay of staff to run and manage the Grade II listed, 615-seat theatre.
