Promote your theatre as a warm hub
Theatres Trust has partnered with the Warm Welcome campaign, to help venues providing free and safe spaces for those struggling to heat their homes this winter.
As the weather gets colder, a large segment of the population is contending with anxieties about the affordability of energy bills. We have partnered up with the Warm Welcome campaign, which is equipping organisations across the community to open their doors and provide free, safe, warm, and welcoming spaces for those struggling to heat their homes this winter.
While we appreciate that it won’t be appropriate for every theatre as many struggle with their own rising energy costs, being part of the Warm Welcome Space campaign is a great opportunity for theatres that are planning to become warm hubs this winter to promote their space and be part of a high profile national campaign.
Register your organisation as a Warm Welcome Space
We invite you to register your organisation as a Warm Welcome Space by completing a simple online form. Please put Theatres Trust as the partner organisation you are connected to so we can see which theatres have signed up.
By registering:
- You will be added to the Warm Welcome map, allowing you to see who else in your local area is involved in case you are in need of partnerships, in addition to connecting those in need of warm spaces with the closest Warm Welcome centres to them.
- You will gain access to the Warm Welcome registration pack with resources such as a step-by-step guide, a fundraising toolkit, branding and social media content, and safeguarding resources to help you get your Warm Welcome space up and running as soon as possible.
- You will be part of a nation-wide campaign made up of thousands of organisations working towards the same goal, to support those struggling to stay warm. There has already been media interest in the campaign and there will be PR opportunities for interesting case studies.
If you have any questions about this project, please contact Justine Harvey, Marekting and Communications Manager at Theatres Trust.
