Dave Moutrey, Theatres Trust Chair says, I am delighted that Louisa, Mark and Adam will be joining Theatres Trust’s Board as we head into the Trust’s 50th anniversary year. Collectively, they bring an impressive level of expertise, experience and enthusiasm that will enhance the skills of our already strong set of Trustees.

Joshua McTaggart, Theatres Trust CEO says, These are challenging times for theatres, but there are also opportunities to be embraced, which makes Theatres Trust’s role supporting the UK’s theatres even more vital. I’m excited to work with Louisa, Mark and Adam and the rest of our Board to expand Theatres Trust’s reach and impact at this critical time.

Louisa Harris comments, The theatre is one of the most magical places I can think of, it's where I learn about humanity and the world and home to many of my most treasured memories. Theatres play such an important, and often underappreciated role, in building community resilience. It's such a joy and privilege to join the Theatre's Trust's Board of Trustees and their mission to protect theatres and champion the future of live performance.

Adam Knight comments, I’m honoured and delighted to have been appointed by the Secretary of State to serve as a Trustee of the Theatres Trust. Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand how theatres can transform communities, inspire young people, and enrich lives. I believe in the Trust’s mission to secure the future of theatres across the UK, especially in towns and smaller cities where they play such a vital civic role. I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to the Board, working collaboratively to champion innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in our sector.

Mark Johnston comments, As an architect, I’m passionate about the many remarkable theatres in the UK - not just as buildings, but as vital community assets. I’m thrilled to bring my passion and professional experience to the Trust and help continue its important work.
