  • Temporary scaffold structure at London's Coliseum

    The Trust raised no objection to installation of a temporary scaffold structure to the front of the Coliseum to hold a large banner sign for the forthcoming run of We Will Rock You.

  • Strengthening and waterproofing works at Ambassadors Theatre

    The Trust supported planning permission and listed building consent for works at the theatre to strengthen corroded beams, install waterproofing measures and remove a redundant boiler.

  • Further comments on Brighton Hippodrome scheme following amendments

    The Trust has submitted further detailed comments on proposals for Brighton Hippodrome after amended plans and extra documents were submitted. Whilst welcoming some changes which are an improvement on the initial scheme, significant concerns remain.

  • Installation of brackets at Harold Pinter Theatre

    The Trust raised no objections to the installation of two brackets to the theatre's front elevation as part of a scheme across the wider area to add festive decorations.

  • Mural for Theatre Deli's new Sheffield site

    The Trust supported advertisement consent for a bold mural across an external wall at Theatre Deli's new site in Sheffield, their third in the city.

  • Signage for Soho Theatre Walthamstow

    The Trust has supported listed building consent for the installation of signage at the former Granada which will become known as Soho Theatre Walthamstow following its major restoration project.

  • Extension of Stamford Corn Exchange into neighbouring building

    The Trust supported planning permission for new openings and change of use of parts of the neighbouring building to extend the theatre's bar and museum/archive.

  • Refurbishment of Terrace Restaurant at National Theatre

    The Trust supported refurbishments and reconfigurations of the Terrace Restaurant and Bar at the National Theatre to improve operational efficiency and function ahead of a new tenant moving in.

  • Refurbishments at Theatre Royal Brighton

    Listed building consent for a number of internal refurbishments was supported, which also included reconfiguration of WCs and a new opening into the neighbouring pub which provides better wheelchair accessibility.

  • Alterations and return to use of Pontypridd's Muni

    The Trust welcomed planning permission and listed building consent for internal and external alterations which will see the Muni returned to use. It closed in 2018, and was also for a time on the Trust's Theatres at Risk register.

  • Additional front of house and accessibility for Phoenix Theatre

    The Trust has supported plans to integrate neighbouring retail units into the Phoenix in London's West End, which will provide additional front of house space and WCs along with a lift which will make more of the building accessible.

  • Alterations to WCs at Leeds Grand

    The Trust supported elements of a scheme to refurbish and increase WC provision, but raised concerns at loss of historic cisterns requesting submission of justification and other options for retention and refurbishment to be considered.
